Well I have completed my high resolution computer audio upgrade. The original plan was to go with the M-Audio Fast Track Pro, but it did not work out so well, I don’t know if I just had a bad unit or if it is just a characteristic of the model…I found it to be very dull, the sound quality was not good. I quickly returned it and went with the Edirol UA-25EX by Rolland…very happy with it, much much better sound quality.
The KRK RP5GS are working out well and today I added the KRK RP10s sub to help move some air in the low range, that not all that’s moving ;-).
Now I am in search for some HD music, Lin Records and HDtracks have some nice selection and I converted all my CDs to FLAC lossless. Can’t wait to try out some 96khz/24bit music.
